| Ejari Cancellation, as per RERA, is important once your tenant moves out of the property. There can be only one Ejari contract registered against a property and as per the system, if the previous Ejari contract has not been cancelled, new tenant will not be able to register in Ejari system. | |
| The moment you and your tenant decide to cancel the tenancy contract, you should prepare for cancelling the tenant in Ejari system as well. Simply go to any Ejari center in Dubai with above (a)and (b) documents and they will cancel the Ejari right then and there. | |
| It will take Hardly 10-15 minutes, excluding the time you may have to wait in the queue. Usually there are not a lot of people waiting to get their Ejari contract cancelled or registered so the moment you reach to the Ejari office, you will be done with the process within 30 minutes maximum. | |
| Charges for Ejari cancellation is AED 30+VAT to be paid in cash at the counter while submitting above mentioned documents. You don’t have to pay anything for late Ejari cancellation and regardless of when you get the ejari cancelled, the charges remain the same. | |
